Peace be with you, please continue moving forward to Romans 8, the answer from the struggles in Romans 7.
"Therefore there is no condemnation to those who belong to CHRIST. For the Law of the HOLY SPIRIT sets you free (from sin if one continues to practice the Law of the HOLY SPIRIT, teachings to excel, showing true repentance in action of faith that is when one 'abides' in the 'Words of spirit and life of the HOLY SPIRIT', that came out from the mouth of the Living MESSIAH, the author and finisher of the New Covenant).
Let us not be in ignorance because unless believers continue to sow in the things of the HOLY SPIRIT written in the New Covenant then they may enter GOD's house of rest in future. As it is written that eternal life is assured and sealed because of CHRIST for all believers who have accepted and come to the New Covenant (contract) which GOD has made. But believers need to understand further that one must continue to add to their initial faith (the gift of GOD), a work out of their salvation in fear and trembling, in order to enter 'that place of rest' also mentioned, written in the New Covenant. Romans chapter 8 clearly reminds all believers that there is a work out to be done (a sowing), either continuing sowing in the things of carnality (flesh) and reaping second death. Or sowing in the things of the HOLY SPIRIT and reaping true life to eternal life.
Romans 8 starts by stating in first verse; "Therefore now, there is no condemnation 'for those' .............", and the truth goes on in the continuing verses to illustrate who are 'those' mentioned;
1. Are they those who remove and continue in false practices/work outs, sowing according to the things of the flesh further reaping second death, who are further not condemn?
2. Or are they those who remain and continue in true practices/work outs, sowing to the things of the HOLY SPIRIT of the New Covenant further reaping true life for eternal, who are further not condemn?.
i would myself also rather love to remain at Romans 7 and many other Scriptures taken out of context in order to be excused and believe being free from condemnation and also be a witness to others. But the HOLY SPIRIT the Teacher who leads us to sound doctrine has highlighted in other Scriptures that i am only fooling myself in continuing and am short sighted in believing such confessions, believing and remaining in partial truth taken out of a 'finished' complete context the sound doctrine of the New covenant).
No one can escape from the double edged sword sharper than any other sword, which is of the Living GOD who made the New Covenant through HIS SON with HIS saved people. Where man and women who believe are called to 'continue/abide/keep' in them that leads toward living faithfulness first and then the Old Covenant, a living truth based history as a reference to remember a spirit filled living faithfulness conducted by man and women documented and also a carnal dead unfaithfulness conducted by man and women documented.
