Hi everybody well I'm 15 and a girl and have secretly have been dealing with pornography/masturbation and I'm sick and tired of it. Well, I have been trying to stop and well I have had success. Does anyone have any advice/encouragement/or just a small prayer? Thanks I'll respond to most comments. I appreciate you taking your time to read this.

Hello Zoey,

I know where your coming from I use to be there and what helped me was giving everything up for the Lord and actively being in deep prayer with him for each time out of your day even if it was just for 10mins. Also one thing to help is to be held accountable for someone like have a friend from here or someone check in on you and give you support on it. God bless and I pray that our Lord will deliver you from evil and keep you away from the temptations.

The bible says in 2 Corinthians 10:4 "For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
Romans 8:2 "For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."
Zoey, you have already been freed from all sin, and whenever you are tempted to sin, just bring that thought to captivity through prayer and give it away to God. The most important thing about getting rid of sin, is choosing to let go, choosing to break free and asking God to change your mentality. If you get tempted, just confess with your mouth that you are free and have let go of it all. I'll be praying for you. God bless
