Even this purely secular movie producer knows there is something wrong with the world's sexual understanding.
 
Yes because a pedophile on the run from US law is where we should be getting our social commentary from.
 
the oldest profession was gardening followed closely but animal husbandry.......the first sin was doubt followed by disobedience....i'm not sure when sexual misconduct got out of hand but it is the most rampant destructive sin of them all even in the church'

You have to read the whole of what sex is as it was created to understand sex. You can't, for instance, ignore that it makes two into one and think you know what sex is.

Sex education that gives all the particulars without including the spiritual part of it is more a distortion of sex than an education.
 
sadly there are no sex education programs that give particulars. Besides the spiritual is something to be taught at church or home, not in a public school sex ed class.
 
In a public school spirituality will never be taught. If this a concern for you then a private Christian school or home school would be your best options.
 
Im definitely not going to take my kid to a christian based sex ed. Ive been to one of those. Literally said anything other than missionary an for procreation was lust and sinful. It was the most irresponsible thing i have even seen. COndoms were calle a sin as well...it just blows my mind
 
Sometimes I feel like the church treats sexual immorality with so much undue judgement. Don't get me wrong, I'm not condone it. But the treatment is similar to the way Christians have blown homosexuality out of proportion. Sin is sin is sin... But the shame that our culture has placed on sexual sin stirs the judgementalism in Christians. Sin has consequences but we are all susceptible to all kinds of sin. We are all susceptible to sexual sin. If someone has sex ooutside of marriage ther sin should not be judged any better or worse than a person who steals or manipulates or lies. But we judge sexual sin so harshly that we end up deepening the root of that sin by feeding its shame base.
 
The sex education in the school is not about spiritual understanding verse whatever it is you want teaching to include. Sex simply is sex and much of their teaching excludes so much it is misrepresenting it. What they teach is like if someone didn't know anything about a car or what it does and went to be educated. So they learn about pistons, and gas, and avoiding accidents and say now, you are educated, without being told that a car is something to get you from one place to the other, etc.

Sex is a physical means for two people to become one in marriage, for the first overall view of it. That is not spiritual understanding, that is nitty gritty down to earth what it is. Song of Solomon gives a lot of it. If you take out what some call the spiritual part of it, you get something that isn't sex at all, it is a fleshly synthetic attempt at it and always fails in some way.
