Pray for one of formerly close high school friends, "J." We both chose different paths (mine - the Lord, hers - alcohol, love, sex, approval of others, etc.). Recently in October due to a hurricane in the area, I went to stay with her and got to see just how broken she was. Her marriage is the rocks. She has several family members dealing with major life threatening health issues and she has basically lost all hope in life. I was able to plant a few seeds with her and share with her a different church than what she's used to, more modern and updated. She really enjoyed it. My prayer is that she personally makes the first step to go to church on her own. I don't live near her, I can't go with her, and her husband isn't encouraging or saying yes/no. She wants to go but I think she would like someone to go with her. I just pray either someone invite her to church that she knows or she gets the courage and goes on her own and God meets her where she is. I pray for life change in her, her family, her marriage, and all of her surroundings. For an amazing testimony!
 
Prayers for your friend, and for you as well, for friends in times such as she is
facing are deeply treasured as a life saver in the stormy seas she is traversing.

Lord we pray for J, let you come in her life and bless she leaves all these wrong things and follow you. Bless her marriage and husband and family members. Let you please heal them. yes Lord have your mercy upon them. Lord hold J's hand and guide her. Lord also bless heavenbound84, and use her to encourage J with yourwords. Lord we agree with this prayer and seek your blessings upon J, her husband and family members. Lord please bless. in Jesus Holy name, Amen!
 
Wow, i can see that you are definitely a great friend! I love how you pointed her to Chris during such a trialing time. That is really admirable. Let me pray now....

Father, In our lives, you are a healer. You have done work in my life, in "heavenbound84's" life, and so many more. You have taken brokeness and turned it into something beautiful. Lord I pray for this in J's life. God that you would make Your presence known unto her. I pray that she would realize that all she has EVER needed was your love. Father, I pray that she would get to know you more. Lord, hat she would open Your Word, and learn about Your promises. I know there is no problem too big for you. I ask that you would be with her in every way, and remind her of Your love,
