I just came out of a major depression at the end of October 2009. I know why I came out because I gave my life to Christ ! However, now I have the situation with my job punishing me because I was not able to come to work during this time. I could even get out of the bed... I am on a Letter of Instruction due to the abuse of my leave, I exhausted all of it. My prayer request is that the Lord move me from this position, I know there is something else the Lord wants me to do. It seems I am being punished for being depressed. Please PRAY that I leave this position. Has anyone had this happen to them ?

sadly many firms seem to have as part of their rules they can use to "get you out of the way" if you are anything they don't like... be it pregnant, married or depressed. I haven't worked, so I don't know quite how that is, but when I was in practice the school papers said they could refuse us to finish the practice period if we were f.ex depressed... this as lined up in the same sentence as abusing drugs or harming someone....

You have my full sympathy and I will pray for you.

Thanks so much for your prayers. It seems they think I'm gonna do something to them. I know I am out of the dark so I guess they will have to see.
