1TIMOTHY 2:1-6 “First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all, which is the testimony given at the proper time.”1

It's hard sometimes to pray for vile people....but that is what God has asked us. Even so, there are some pretty huge evils on this earth today.
I hear so often Prayer is the greatest thing you can do.

We can't hurt them physically. We can't yell loud enough. We can vote, but it won't end there. The only thing we can do that holds water, wisdom and the word...is to pray.

For them. For them to come to know the truth and live in it.
I'm not comfortable with it yet either. Praying for an evil, ugly person is hard...but it is humbling and exceedingly powerful. In Jesus name, we must consider our failures, our blessings, our hope. It is a fallen world, but Jesus came that we might rise.

God asked me to share.

"Be bold before the Lord...come forth and lay down your burdens in prayer." Amen
