Prayer of faith for someone .... Please pray with me

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for stopping by..well, mine is a tricky situation but I'll pleased to share it with all of you.
I would be very grateful, if you could remember us in your prayers.

I'm a born again Christian and believer in Christ. I knew someone in my office, who is an amazing person and he liked me. I never reciprocated to his initiatives of wanting to know me further, because he was born into a hindu family and possibly brought up that way. (although he seems open- minded and uanffected). I didn't allow him to spend much time with me, knowing that the two of us, could develop stronger feelings if we did. I am well aware of the verse, that asks us not to yoke with an unbeliever, so I had to keep my distance even though I liked him a lot.

It was heartbreaking for me, to eventually see him leave the Firm after a while. (for other reasons) I miss him a lot and have a burden for him always and wished, he knew Christ. I didn't take any proactive means to get closer to him..neither used Gospel as means, as a pretext of bringing him to Christ. I am just praying, that God on his own, open a way for my friend, to get to know Jesus as his personal savior and be transformed. If it's God's will thereafter, that he brings him and me together in Christ. I've only tried to put God first and hope that he engineers a way for him to know the Lord.

I would be utterly grateful to you, if you could please remember him and me in your prayers ? I pray everyday, that God opens him up to the saving grace of the Gospel and personally touches him, makes him a born again Christian. I also pray that, God would grant me as a wife to him, because I really love him, for the person he is. I would love to live with him and grow stronger in Christ together.


My faith and hope is in the Lord and my expectations are from him alone, that he doesn't want anyone to perish and I am interceding for the soul of the man, I love.I would be very grateful for your precious prayers in this regard.

Lord we also pray Julia likes him. we pray for both of them , Lord bless them both and help them to know and obey you in everything. Lord we pray bless this prayer and you be glorified. Praying for your friend, Julia, that he will seek the Lord first. Then, he will seek you and you can get to know each other better :). God will honor your faithfulness.

Amen, thank you so much Lucy! I pray for this, that he indeed seeks the Lord first and then me. Please continue praying for him and me.

Thank you for pouring our your Spirit upon us (including Julia and Julia's friend) You have done everything for us through YOUR Son Jesus Christ. LORD we believe thank for helping our unbelief! Amen. Thank you so much. May the Lord bless this prayer and indeed pour out his Spirit over me and my friend. I believe, he as done all things through Jesus..yes amen.
 
O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done marvelous things, things planned long ago.
 
RED-FLAG' = you would 'love' to 'live' with him!!! without ever getting to know him on

You could say I knew quite a bit about him, to understand that he was a really nice guy. Not just me, the entire team I work with could vouch for that. I knew and understood somethings about him on a personal level, based on my interactions with him.
(even one on one conversations in the office)

Apart from that, getting to know him personally outside of the office premises, which essentially may imply hanging out with someone, or if seriously getting to know them, means dating. This is not something I wanted to do, because I saw no point to it, unless he was of the faith. Trying to get to know someone on such a personal and spiritual level, is a strong indication of interest and can mislead someone, into thinking that I'm really interested. When the point has always been clear - even if I am truly interested and the person is an absolute gem, what is the point - till they are in the faith ? I can't then backout, when I show someone so much interest and drop them saying later, they're not a believer. I always was aware, they weren't one, so why take strong steps to know them on a strong personal and spiritual level..I'm just trying to be careful not to lead them on.

My regrets if any, has always been - that I've felt from my spirit and my interactions, that he's a great person, who is in the dark about the true and living God. I couldn't reciprocate and explore more with him, in terms of knowing him, because of the difference in his faith and mine and not wanting to lead him on. My prayer thus, has always been..that God may grant him repentance, the grace to know him personally and then, if it please God, to bring us both together and allow us to know more about the other.
