1 Corinithians 1:18
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;
but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

What happened to the old fashioned preaching of the cross?
Why is there such a falling away from the word of God. and
the gathering together in the churches?

It is just people fulfilling the prophesy of God. that in the last days their will be a "falling away"

Well if you preach the cross, then there will be alot of dying. I find dying rather great. Being dead to self is freedom. I think there is just to much religion going on. Lets just polish up our old self!! No one really needs to die!! That doesn't really work, no one is changed from Glory to Glory, but its a good show! Get hungry enough & God will guide you to a church where the Cross is preached! Blessings Mark!

The main reason is that man is not giving credit to God for what His Son accomplished on the cross. Christ died for all of those that His Father gave to him and by his sacrifice they received eternal salvation, not just offered eternal salvation. Christ said all that he died for he would not lose any but raise them up at the last day. Christ offered himself upon the cross to God and not to man. Christ accomplished redemption, everlasting life, justification and security for all that he died for.

There has never been a falling away (eternally speaking) for any of those he died for. None can pluck them out of his hand. Some that he died for has fallen away from their fellowship with him, but none of them will fall away eternally.

And why would we mock every tv preacher?Do we want evil to rule everything?
This is serious stuff,everywhere you turn there is some new movement, not the
wholesome words of God, people be careful if it is not sound doctrine, check yourselfs

Turn back to the living God
God bless

Nice way to twist my words.

God prophesied of a falling away (of truth) in the last day, Did God lie?

I never stated a man could lose salvation. I am talking about the truth being distorted, and people following the lie instead of the truth.
