Before they went into Gethsemane, Jesus told the disciples that he going to prepare a place for us in his Father's house. Likewise, we should be in preparation of ourselves for this place. Jesus also says that if he goes to prepare a place for us, that he will come again and receive us so that where he is we may be also, will we be prepared?
Let's not be like the five foolish virgins who were not ready in the parable of the bridegroom. There won't be any excuses accepted on that day, "Lord, Lord, open to us" isn't going to get you in after the door has been shut.
God has sent us the Holy Ghost in the name of Christ which teaches ALL things and brings ALL things to our remembrance that Jesus said to us. We have ALL that we need to prepare ourselves for the kingdom of God: The final Sacrifice, the Holy Spirit, and God's Word. Will you be prepared for the place prepared for you?
