Our God has used prophecy throughout history. He has warned people of the future. He has given hope for the future. He has not left us completely blind to our future. The fact that we will go to Heaven or Hell is a prophecy. Jesus has told us much about the end times or the last days. We should study these prophecies in order to understand the future. Prophecy tells us that our God enjoys telling us things that will happen. Prophecy means our God knows the future. Our wonderful God has told us what to expect in many circumstances. These must be key circumstances because God has told us what will happen. From Old Testament prophecy to Revelation, the Bible is filled with prophecy. We should have no doubt; it will happen as God says it will happen. How much of the future do you know from the Bible?

Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

Dan 12:9 And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.

If God wanted us to know the future then why did He seal the book of Daniel until the time of the end? Could it be that in reality that prophecy was given so that after we saw it’s fulfillment we could use it to prove the truth of the Scriptures? Many have used the prophetic Scriptures in a poor attempt to know the future. A couple examples would be:
· Whisenant, Edgar C. (1988). 88 Reasons Why the Rapture Will Be in 1988. Predicted that the Rapture would occur in 1988.
· Whisenant, Edgar C. (1989). The final shout: Rapture report 1989. Predicted that the Rapture would occur in 1989.
· Whisenant, Edgar C. (1993). 23 reasons why a pre-tribulation rapture looks like it will occur on Rosh-Hashanah 1993. Predicted that the Rapture would occur in 1993.
· Whisenant, Edgar C. (1994). And now the earth's destruction by fire, nuclear bomb fire. Prediction for 1994.
And let’s not forget the recent failed predictions of Harold Camping. With every failed prediction the testimony of Christians grows weaker giving the nonbeliever more reason to doubt the validity of Scripture and our testimony.

Those things of God which are now dark and obscure will hereafter be made clear, and easy to be understood. Truth is the daughter of time. Scripture prophecies will be expounded by the accomplishment of them; therefore they are given, and for that explication they are reserved. Therefore they are told us before, that, when they do come to pass, we may believe. – Matthew Henry

"The folly of interpreters has been to foretell times and things by this prophecy [Revelation], as if God designed to make them prophets. By this rashness they have not only exposed themselves, but brought the prophecy also into contempt. The design of God was much otherwise. He gave this and the prophecies of the Old Testament, not to gratify men's curiosities by enabling them to foreknow things, but that after they were fulfilled they might be interpreted by the event, and his own providence, not the interpreters', be then manifested thereby to the world. For the event of things predicted many ages before will then be a convincing argument that the world is governed by Providence." - Sir Isaac Newton

Would we, as Christians be better served to use fulfilled prophecy to prove the truth of Scriptures? Or should we keep playing like prophecy is some sort of crystal ball that allows us to see the future and as a result keep bringing the Scriptures into contempt with failed predictions?
Why not take a little time and read a free book online that demonstrates fulfilled prophecy based on a Scripturally sound hermeneutic study. Read it HERE

till the time of the end.........we are in the end times now, so now they are being revealed.

Yes we are. Sadly too many are so busy looking for what they think will happen that they fail to recognize that the beast is staring them in the eye.
