A good little passage to remember though...
Romans 2:2 You may think you can condemn such people, but you are just as bad, and you have no excuse! When you say they are wicked and should be punished, you are condemning yourself, for you who judge others do these very same things. 2 And we know that God, in his justice, will punish anyone who does such things. 3 Since you judge others for doing these things, why do you think you can avoid God’s judgment when you do the same things? 4 Don’t you see how wonderfully kind, tolerant, and patient God is with you? Does this mean nothing to you? Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?

Side note: the biggest battle is not going to be the people who are 'gay'... But more so the cultural misunderstanding of the bible... A culture who thinks that they know everything about Christ, and write Him off as nothing more than Wukong, Thor, or Zeus... That is the biggest battle... To show them the true God, and not to compound their hatred towards Christ by responding with only damnation...

Hence my Romans 2 quote...

Can you not see the straw-men created in the song... Nor the potential cultural backlash... Or even the quickly retaliating 'Christians filled with anger and hate'...

This whole ordeal was done to ignite a fire... So I posted Romans 2 under it... To keep us in perspective... So we don't make the flames hotter, but more so be the light in darkness, and to be a Colossians 4 church...
2 Devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart. 3 Pray for us, too, that God will give us many opportunities to speak about his mysterious plan concerning Christ. That is why I am here in chains. 4 Pray that I will proclaim this message as clearly as I should.
5 Live wisely among those who are not believers, and make the most of every opportunity. 6 Let your conversation be gracious and attractive so that you will have the right response for everyone.

(edit: the Romans 2 quote was not to suggest we have no right to respond publicly/verbally... But more so that we don't go out and condemn them all (which seems to happen a lot))

This would presume men are in control and not God

[SUP]10 [/SUP]Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. [SUP]13[/SUP]Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. [SUP]14 [/SUP]Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, [SUP]15 [/SUP]and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. [SUP]16 [/SUP]In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. [SUP]17 [/SUP]Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
[SUP]18 [/SUP]And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord’s people.

-Ephesians 6:10-18
