Not many sitting American presidents have won the award. In fact, Obama was only the third.

Now as Obama stumbles his way through the military actions and wars he's involving the U.S. in including a proposed military strike on the Syrian government, it seems the president has not paid nearly enough attention to the history of world leaders who have won this international honor. The list of Peace Prize winners impresses: Henry Dunant, the founder of the International Red Cross; American social reformer Jane Addams; George Marshall, the architect of peaceful post-World War Two Europe; Martin Luther King Jr.; Burmese freedom fighter Aung San Suu Kyi, andNelson Mandela.

And, of course, Obama who is a warmonger that received it for being 1/2 black. Oh how the bar has fallen.

I didn't read the article but I laughed at the title. I wanna know who nominates these people....if Putin wins, maybe next time they could nominate this guy.

Exactly! But the committee is handing them out to almost anyone anymore. They gave one to Jimmy Carter. They gave one to Al Gore too. None of these people EVER earned it. They just accepted it while scratching their head why they were getting it and set about enriching their bank accounts to the best of their ability.

Here's an example of someone who deserved it: Mother Theresa

Obama, Putin, Gore, Carter, Tookie, etc... all put together don't even approximate one Mother Theresa!!!
