DO YOU CLOSE THE DOOR WHEN YOU HAVE A SHOWER OR USE THE BATHROOM?

IF SO, WHY?

When I was single I did. Was just a habit, I guess.

Or maybe it was that I wanted to put up as many barriers between me and my enemies as possible, to give me enough time to react before they could get me. I also always sat facing the windows/doors in restaurants.

or not...

You decide.

I'll have to get back to you on that. I don't live alone, so I definitely have to close doors. I don't think my dad and brother would be too happy if I didnt

I've lived alone for a few days here and there.

What I discovered is that I didn't close the door when I had a shower, because I didn't see a need to.

And I've always wondered what the norm is for people who live on their own.

Because i feel weird with the door open when im in the shower. Well, plus i saw the movie scream when i was a teenager, so now when i leave the door open and im showering i always feel like theres someone on the otherside with a knife waiting to slice me up. hmmm, this may not be normal thinking.

If I lived by myself I'd love to keep the door open when i'd be in the bathroom. Back in my college days I used to walk around my room buk-natted when my roomy was out. that and dancing to techno music... the things he never knew of... :D

Those by far weren't the strangest things I've done in college, but I'll save the others for another time perhaps....

p.s. i just do it because I like trying new things and because I like the freedom

I see nothing wrong with going a whole day with no clothes on in your own home. That is unless I do certain activities such as vacuuming, sweeping the balcony, taking hot food out of the oven, or deep frying, then it is important to wear clothes. I actually close and lock the bathroom door in case an intruder comes in I feel the extra locked door is an extra barrier of protection, that in addition to wearing underpants of course.

I've never understood the intruder reasoning! It seems to be what alot of people say.

I don't think a bathroom door would get in the way of someone who really wanted to kill you! Is it that you would have some extra time to find some sort of weapon while he struggles with the locked door?

Or would it give you time to dress so that if you are killed you would be found fully clothed?

Or maybe you would be better prepared to fight fully clothed. Some of the greek soliders back in the day used to fight naked - it was considered to be intimidating to the enemy.

Well for me, If someone is gonna come and kill me its not that the door will act as any kind of barrier i just dont like being snuck up on. So if im about to die, i wanna be fully aware of it, i'll obviously here the door being opened.

I close the door because of humidity. The steam that a hot shower generates will stay in the bathroom and not affect any of my papers or computer. (It's a one room apartment) also, and I am not rying to be tacky, but bathrooms are not the cleanest or most sanitary of rooms, unlesss you scrub yours daily.

That is a most satisfactory reason my friend.
