I hope I'm putting this in the right thread lol
Well, some of you may already now that I write poetry and fanfiction and I couldn't help but post one of my poems on here. I hope to post more soon.
This poem was dedicated to a very special person that I held dear to my heart. We were both very close but she had a problem with her heart and at 12 in the morning, we took her to the hospital but she didn't make it.
She died on the 30th of December and I dedicate this poem to her. May GOD be taking care of her up there and may she be happy and no longer suffering. ♥

Everynight I close my eyes
And think of you and how it used to be
During those good old fashioned times
The tint in the sky grows darker with each passing day
Might I remind you
Of how much I cried when you were taken away
My heart feels as though it's in a lifeless stream
I hope you realize
You're in my every dream
When my time is up and there's nowhere left to run
I'll come dancing back to you
And we'll bask underneath the sun
But for now, I waste away my life here
Wilting are my rose petals
As they fall into an empty bottle of beer
For now, it seems as though I'm here all alone
For now, it seems like you're gone forever
And I'll forever be out on my own
