Satan, After having tasted the heavenly gift and made a partaker of the Holy Ghost turned on his creator. tossing away all that was good and holy to be his own god. There was not a second chance for him, because he attacked The almighty God, his creator. and for that kind of behavior, God condemned him to ruin,known as perdition. What is scary, is that if this same behavior is done by a true believer,then there is no second chance for that person either, except that he be doomed. Hebrews;6;4-6; For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened ,and have tasted of the heavenly gift,and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost. 5; and have tasted the good word of God,and the powers of the world to come, 6; If they shall fall away,to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son Of God afresh, and put him to open shame.................................(this is not the same as going astray like the lost sheep Jesus talked about or the prodical son. who left home and returned home after the world brought him down low.
