Promises to the seven churches

1. "I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God" Rev 2: 7
2. " He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death" Rev 2: 11
3. "To him who over comes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it" Rev. 2: 17
4. "He who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end to him I will give power over the nations" Rev 2: 26
5. "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments and I will not blot out his name from the book of Life but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels" Rev. 3: 5
6. "because you have kept My command to persevere. I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. Rev 3: 10
7. "To him who over comes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne" Rev 3: 21

there are more sets of seven and I thought it would be interesting to look at all of them along side each other because there is a pattern to the verses. I wonder if anyone else sees it.

I'll post more after the kids go to bed but we have:

7 – represents perfection, and is the sign of God, divine worship, completions, obedience, and rest. The “prince” of Bible numbers, it is used 562 times, including its derivatives (e.g., seventh, sevens). (See Genesis 2:1–4, Psalms 119:164 and Exodus 20:8–11 for just a few of the examples.)

The number seven is also the most common in biblical prophecy, occurring 42 times in Daniel and Revelation alone. In Revelation there are seven churches, seven spirits, seven golden candlesticks, seven stars, seven lamps, seven seals, seven horns, seven eyes, seven angels, seven trumpets, seven thunders, seven thousand slain in a great earthquake, seven heads, seven crowns, seven last plagues, seven golden vials, seven mountains, and seven kings.

Rev. 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

Zechariah 4:10 For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel with those seven; they are the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

Herein is the seven Spirits of God as was declared by Isaiah the prophet.

Isa. 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD

These are found in Messiah, for God was pleased that all the fulness of the GODHEAD bodily should dwell in him (live). This Lamb of God has seven eyes and seven horns, of which the horns are the prophetic figure of the power of God.

By which all the fulness dwells, is also the express image of the invisible God through the face of Jesus.

There is one throne by which Messiah sits, the throne of his Father! Whom no man can see the Father because he is Spirit, but we see Jesus who is the express image of his person.

:) thanks everyone :)

I'm going to post some more Bible verses, hope you don't mind :)

I was studying this today and I saw a pattern, I was wondering if it was just in my head it made sense there lol. :)

#1 : the sending forth of the Holy Spirit and the Great commission into the world to conquer and overcome.

church 1: "to him who over comes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God"

Seal 1: " and I look and behold a white horse, He who sat on it had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer"

Trumpet 1: " the first angel sounded and hail and fire followed, mingled with blood and they were thrown to the earth. and a third of the trees were burned up and all green grass was burn up"

Heavenly Sign 1: "Now a great sign appeared in heave a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth."

reminds me of the unfruitful trees and tares being cast into the fire and it talks about the tree of life in the church scripture. what if the trees being burnt are the tree of good and evil? How do we conquer evil? we overcome it with good. How are we fruitful? we eat from those tree of healing that God provides for us. anyways lets continue....

Plague/bowl 1: "So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image"

sounds like God's chastening to me...

i'll go into number two in the next post..

# 2 Tribulation of the saints. power given to their enemies to kill and make war with them.

seal 2: "another horse, fiery red, went out and it was granted to the one who sat on it to take peace from the earth and the people should kill one another and there was given to him a great sword."

Trumpet 2: " and something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea and a third of the sea became blood.

Rev 12: 17 "And the dragon was enraged with the woman and he went to make war with the rest of her offspring who kept the commandments f God and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. "

Plague: "then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea and it became blood as of a dead man and every living creature in the sea died.

#3 Harvest time: separating the wheat and the tares, the sheep and the goats, famine upon the land. testing to see if people will die for their testimony of Christ or are like stony soil that will deny Him when put to test.

Seal: "When He opened the third seal I heard the third living creature say, "come and see" So I looked and behold a black horse and he was sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand" and I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "a quart of wheat for a denarius and three quarts of barley for a denarius and do not harm the oil and the wine."

Trumpet: "then the third angel sounded. A great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water, because it was made bitter."

do you remember Jesus talked about how a stream could not be both bitter and pure or something like that?

Rev. 11: 1 "then I was given a reed like a measuring rod and the angel stood, saying "rise and measure the temple of God, the altar, and those who worship there. But leave out the court which is outside the temple, and do not measure it. for it has been given to the Gentiles. and they will tread the holy city underfoot for forty two months"

Rev 12: 14 "but the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent."

(oh i forgot for number 2 of rev 12: " now when the dragon saw that he had been cast to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave bith to the male Child" )

Plague: "then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water and they became blood"

remind me of how Jesus told us out of our heart would flow springs of living water.

#4 things come out of the bottomless pit, Great tribulation and martyring of the saints.

Seal: "so I looked and behold, a pale horse. and the name of him who sat on it was DEATH and Hades followed with him. And power was give them over a fourth of the earth to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.

trumpet: "A third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine and likewise the night.'

rev 11: 7-10
7 When they finish their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit will make war against them, overcome them, and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our[c] Lord was crucified. 9 Then those from the peoples, tribes, tongues, and nations will see their dead bodies three-and-a-half days, and not allow[d] their dead bodies to be put into graves. 10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them, make merry, and send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.

Rev 12: 15-16
15 So the serpent spewed water out of his mouth like a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away by the flood. 16 But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and swallowed up the flood which the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.

then we have the beast from the sea and the beast from the earth in Chapter 13 too.

Bowl: Revelations 16: 8-9
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

# 5 Resurrection of the saints, 1000 year reign, Consummation of the covenant between Jesus and His bride, Full adoption of God's children, Satan's last battle

Seal: "When He opened the fifth seal. I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held. And they cried with a loud voice, saying 'how long O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?' Then a white robe was given to each of them, and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer, until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren who would be killed as they were, was complete.
this is Satan deception after the he is released from the bottomless pit.

Trumpet: Revelation 9 1 Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. 2 And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. 3 Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. 4 They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. 5 And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. 6 In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them.
7 The shape of the locusts was like horses prepared for battle. On their heads were crowns of something like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men. 8 They had hair like women’s hair, and their teeth were like lions’ teeth. 9 And they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots with many horses running into battle. 10 They had tails like scorpions, and there were stings in their tails. Their power was to hurt men five months. 11 And they had as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in Hebrew is Abaddon, but in Greek he has the name Apollyon.
12 One woe is past. Behold, still two more woes are coming after these things.

Revelation 14: the 144,000 saints "these were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. and in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

bowl: "then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast and his kingdom became full of darkness and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. they blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores and did not repent of their deeds. "

Revelations 20: 1-10

Revelation 20
1 Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, having the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. 2 He laid hold of the dragon, that serpent of old, who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; 3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

4 And I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was committed to them. Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ for a[a] thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over such the second death has no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with Him a thousand years.

7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

# 6 Final Judgement of Jesus, destruction of all things wicked

Seal: revelation 6: 12-16
12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold,[a] there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind. 14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. 15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders,[c] the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

Trumpet: Revelation 9:13-21

13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed—by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For their power[a] is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm.
20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

Revelation 11: 13
13 In the same hour there was a great earthquake, and a tenth of the city fell. In the earthquake seven thousand people were killed, and the rest were afraid and gave glory to the God of heaven.

Revelation 14: 8-11
And another angel followed, saying, “Babylon[a] is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she has made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.”
9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

Bowl: Revelation 16: 12-16

12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and[a] of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

Revelation 19: 17-21
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God,[a] 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Revelation 20: 7-15

7 Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. 9 They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them. 10 The devil, who deceived them, was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone where[a] the beast and the false prophet are. And they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

11 Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. 12 And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. 13 The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works. 14 Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.[c] 15 And anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire.

# 7 New Earth and NEW Heaven. Rest with God. Eternal Sabbath YAAAHH!!!

Seal: Revelation 8: 1 "when He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour"

trumpet: Revelation 10: 1-7
1 I saw still another mighty angel coming down from heaven, clothed with a cloud. And a rainbow was on his head, his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire. 2 He had a little book open in his hand. And he set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land, 3 and cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars. When he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 Now when the seven thunders uttered their voices,[a] I was about to write; but I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Seal up the things which the seven thunders uttered, and do not write them.”
5 The angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land raised up his hand[c] to heaven 6 and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things that are in it, the earth and the things that are in it, and the sea and the things that are in it, that there should be delay no longer, 7 but in the days of the sounding of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, the mystery of God would be finished, as He declared to His servants the prophets.

Revelation 11: 15-19

15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdoms[a] of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!” 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying:

“ We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty,
The One who is and who was and who is to come,
Because You have taken Your great power and reigned.
18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,
And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,
And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,
And those who fear Your name, small and great,
And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

19 Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the ark of His covenant[c] was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises, thunderings, an earthquake, and great hail.

Revelation 14: 12-13
Here is the patience of the saints; here are those[a] who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Revelation 16:17
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

A seven to think about

Seven Days of Mankind

In this study I have used the dates of Prof. Willis K. Beecher. Normally you can find the dates that he placed the different event of the in the Appendix of a Bible Dictionary. There is different opinions on when Adam appeared on earth, but the time table he created fills the time periods of the study.

The number seven appears 55 times in the book Of Genesis and 19 times in the book of Exodus. It seems always to relate to completion of or to finish something. So I will compare this study to the fact that somehow 7 must figure in to the time of the full existence of man.

I think it's time to look at a scripture to begin this study.
2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord
as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

Beecher has the creation date placed at 4004 BC I would like to start at this point.
Starting here and dividing the time period into 7 segment, it would make the existence of man
at 7000 years. Let me further try to verify this by looking at the end of the first 1000 years.
Enoch was caught away into heaven by God. This would be the end of the first day.

The second day would have the flood and the replenishing of the earth by Noah’s Family. The second day would end with the birth of Abram who became the father of Israel.
There was 2000 years of the time of the Patriarchs. The 1st 2 days or 2 thousand years was the Patriarchal age.

Abram was born 2003 according th Prof. Beecher or almost exactly 2000 years after the creation. Israel became God’s chosen people and a new dispensation of time. The beginning of the third day.

The next day (4th) would usher in the Kingly linage that Christ would be born into. In the year 1003 David was made King over Israel and established the Royal line that will never cease. The fourth day had began.

Our Lord was born according to our calender in 3 or 4 BC. We have to wonder when the fifth day begins. At our Lord’s birth, at his death or on the day of Pentecost when the church was founded. We can tell for sure that it has been close to 2000 years and that the end of the grace period is drawing to a close. When it is over the 2 days of a thousand years will be completed for the grace period. 6000 years will have passed and then the 5th and 6th days will be over.

The final days will be the reign of Christ with his saint. (This will represent the Sabbath)
Satan will be bound and there will be no tempter.

Then the JUDGEMENT.

I don't know Sonnyd the seven days of creation could be examined next to the bowls of Wrath God pours out to destroy the world.

Day 1.
Genesis 1
1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.
3 Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day.

Bowl 1
Revelation 16
2 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image.

Day 2
6 Then God said, “Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters.” 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.

Bowl 2
3 Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died.

Day 3
11 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that yields fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth”; and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, the herb that yields seed according to its kind, and the tree that yields fruit, whose seed is in itself according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 13 So the evening and the morning were the third day.

Bowl 3
4 Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs of water, and they became blood. 5 And I heard the angel of the waters saying:

“ You are righteous, O Lord,
The One who is and who was and who is to be,[c]
Because You have judged these things.
6 For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets,
And You have given them blood to drink.
For[d] it is their just due.”

7 And I heard another from[e] the altar saying, “Even so, Lord God Almighty, true and righteous are Your judgments.”

Day 4
14 Then God said, “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years; 15 and let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth”; and it was so. 16 Then God made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night. He made the stars also. 17 God set them in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth, 18 and to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 So the evening and the morning were the fourth day.
Bowl 4
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. 9 And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.

Day 5
20 Then God said, “Let the waters abound with an abundance of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens.” 21 So God created great sea creatures and every living thing that moves, with which the waters abounded, according to their kind, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth.” 23 So the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Bowl 5

10 Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. 11 They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds.

Day 6
24 Then God said, “Let the earth bring forth the living creature according to its kind: cattle and creeping thing and beast of the earth, each according to its kind”; and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth according to its kind, cattle according to its kind, and everything that creeps on the earth according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.
26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” 27 So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. 28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
29 And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food. 30 Also, to every beast of the earth, to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, in which there is life, I have given every green herb for food”; and it was so. 31 Then God saw everything that He had made, and indeed it was very good. So the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

Bowl 6
12 Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. 13 And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. 14 For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and[f] of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty.
15 “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.”
16 And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.[g]

Day 7
Genesis 2
1 Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. 3 Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

Bowl 7
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!”

Seven in other Bible passages

Genesis 7:4 For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

Genesis 7:10 And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

Just as God told Noah a week (seven days) before the flood, we have the book of Revelation as a warning of things to come. Indeed it can seem as monumentous as the flood itself. Many Christians need to consider that the Church will experience things that are miraculous, no matter who they are. For example: no Christian will miss the rapture of the Church, (dead or alive) because the dead rise first and we which are alive and remain will be raptured after them.

Deuteronomy 15:1 At the end of every seven years thou shalt make a release. 2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lendeth aught unto his neighbor shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbor, or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.

At the end of seven years there was the Lord's release. If you owed money they would release it and not charge you. This is a great glimpse at the Lord's grace and mercy. It was to help the poor among God's people. If they obeyed the Scripture, they had to loan you money if you were poor and after seven years you would not owe anything that you owed.

Deuteronomy 15:9 Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him naught; and he cry unto the LORD against thee, and it be sin unto thee.

Just a couple of passages with seven. God bless.

Dear friend. All of that is pure nonsense! Harold Camping, too, is trying to "figure out"

God's supposed calendar for all of world history, for all of time. It is a lack of humility

that even dares to speculate about such things! God's ways are not our ways, and God's

plan for all of history is not revealed to mortal, sinful men. It is a sin to even try to

speculate about the "day or the hour" of the Father's Divine Plan of the Ages.

Christ will return. That much is certain. To try to speculate about "when", that is

when people sin against God and His Word. The Lord has not seen fit to reveal these

things in the Holy Bible, so we as mortal, sinful people, should not try to pry into the

secret things of God! The whole concept of seven ages of world history is not necessarily

so. To make it into dogma is not necessary. It doesn't save anybody's soul or deliver

anybody from their many sins to try and figure out God's plan for all time and for the end

times. God save us all from every possible heresy. Amen. In Erie PA Scott R. Harrington

one pattern i noticed in revelation is that jesus' advice to each of the seven churches is always either to hold on to or return to the true gospel...

the true gospel is the cure for any problem a church could conceivably have...

The 7 churches are 7 ages since the days of the Apostles, notice the pattern
Revelation 2:25
(25) But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.
Revelation 3:11
(11) Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.
Revelation 3:20
(20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Notice that each one of the three get closer to the coming of Christ.
