Roach Problem

i definitely need small house right now! easy to clean and manage!
maybe i should just burn this house! LOL *crying*

well.. tomorrow i'll try this:
~ CLEANING my house
~ pouring baking soda
~ a bit bug spray here and there (just a bit)
~ browsing and ordering diatomaceous (hopefully i can found the yellow one)

lets hope its GONE
 
No need to call a exterminator. Maxforce Complete is what the professionals use. It's very expensive but it only takes a small amount in places where they are. It's for roaches, ants and crickets. You also have to treat your yard. Just sprinkle some around the trees. Keep away from pets. And seal up the best you can any places that are open that they can get in. There's a foam that you can buy at the hardware store for this. Just ask for the foam they will know what it is.


I kind of like crickets. They sound great at night. :)

actually i can lock my cats outside on the second floor..
but i wondering after i spray everything if it will leave residue on the floor and wall and cats!!! cats like to sniff and lick everything! lol

Two choices and they cost about the same anyway:
-- get an exterminator.
-- buy the insecticide exterminators use, do it yourself, and figure out where you'll stay for the 4-8 hours after you spray.

BTW, I have expertise in this. I can tell you stories that will make your skin crawl from my days as an assistant maintenance manager for a property management company.

And, hubby has deroached/debugged our home for years.

Funny. I was more worried our cat would eat the dead roaches than he'd walk on the residue. lol I can tell you he didn't die from insecticide though -- either way.

I love crickets as well.. i imagine if all roach here change into crickets! must be sweet! LOL

awww no worries! my cats wont bother to touch cockroaches.. lol.. they dont hunt the roaches as well (even that i wish they will do that)

Yea there are people with pet roaches actually. But it's normally not your typical house roach it's one of those huge ones.
 
My concern is that no matter what you use, it'll be darn near impossible to keep your pets away from it.. It's dangerous for them to put down granules because they'll sniff at it. Your best bet is to have an exterminator come out and deal with it....

Or preferably, burn your house and move.. lol JK

As long as it is food grade, it should be fine. Diatomacious earth (a white powder, not dirt LOL) will kill just about any bug that crawls over it, or through it, so as long as it is placed where the bugs wander, they will walk through it and it will kill them.
 
Use Borax powder behind and under all appliances, cabinets etc......it coats them and they cannot breathe and they die.....Magenta's post as well works.....
