During the summer of my sixth grade year, my mother who worked at a library was diagnosed with Ccarbon Monoxide Poisoning. Now, this is pretty easy to cure, but as they did further tests, the doctors also diagnosed her with lung disease. They gave her around a year. I was not told any of this information. I had to hear it over a conversation between my mother and my grandmother. I began crying myself to sleep. Every waking moment with my mother was a treasure. I have always been a mother's child. I just could not believe it. She finally figured out that I knew, but I never cried in front of her. I wanted to stay strong for her. I had no choice. I finally broke down. My sixth grade mind could not comprehend that my mother had lung disease. I laid in my bed on October 5, 2005 and gave my life to the Lord. On Octorber 6, my mother went back for tests and the doctors were amazed. She was healed. Praise the Lord!

Wow. Praise the Lord! That's incredible. I didn't know that happened. I guess that's what Love does. God is Love after all (1 John 4:8).

Yeah, it definitely happens! I was so amazed! I never thought she would get better. I actually thought she would probably die. I was in despair and the last place I had to go was Jesus!
