superdave 5221 is well super!! My brother in Christ like you,I have still a long way to go in Jesus!! The point though is this!! We are in the race!!( 1 cor 9:22-27!!) What is it that many cannot seem to do in Christ?? What is it do you think, we as believers need to do more of?Could it be our time? It was the correct answer for me!! I can tell you that!!
Most pray maybe 15 min a day! And with this they can expect 15 min results from this! David prayed all day!!( psalm 25:5!) And to be able to give more time to our Jesus we are doing this daily!!( 2 Cor 10:5-7!!) The Lord does not care if you watch Tv,or are on the computer,or which to play outside.But what he does care about is that he does not recieve at LEAST!!!! equal time!!
For if we my brother are giving more time to anything other then Jesus,could this not be considered idol worship? Just a thought for all here. God knows, you have to work to eat,he knows if you have a family they must have time from you as well! But Jesus loves you!! Can we not give more time to a Father we will be spending eternity with?? I believe so!
And so,the Lord is teaching me how do give more time to him.( 1 John 2:27) He will teach,if we will listen! For to know you,my brother I would have to spend time with you,same with Jesus! The more time we spend with him,and into his very Word,the better we know his ways!And the better we know his ways!! The more light we can walk in him!! ( Colossians 2:6-10) amen!!
