She hung her head and started to cry
then took out her pen and wrote a final goodbye
apologizing for all the mistakes she had made
then she got out that cold silver blade
thinking it was the one and only way,
to make the stress of life go away
sliding the metal against her skin
cutting slowly the room began to spin
Spinning, spinning then she hit the floor
hoping she was finally done for
something brought her out of the darkness, but what?
She thought she had made her final cut
but right then.. and right there
God heard her silent unspoken prayer
He opened her eyes, spoke to her heart
forgave her sins and gave her a new start
He is almighty and His love never fails
And just for us, he took those nails.
