I am looking for insight and practical application regarding the process of second marriage within the Christian faith with the basis of saved after secular marriage and divorce. Anyone have anything on this?
 
Depending on the situation, I think one should first look into the possibility of reconciliation with the previous spouse. If that is not possible, with prayer, one can proceed to look for a Christian spouse.
 
I totally agree with God is love... In the bible, particularly in Malachi 2:16, it says " I hate divorce, says the LORD God of Israel". So i suggest you pray deeply about this, and consider the thought of reconciliation with your previous partner. However, as I don't know the whole situation why you were divorced, just consider first seeking and obeying God's leading.
