I realise it's a little late, but I thought "Amazing Grace" was an excellent movie. It's a historical movie about William Wilburforce, a fiery Christian Member of Parliament who sets out to end the slave trade throughout the British Empire. He is guided by John Newton, former ship captain and the man who eventually wrote "Amazing Grace", a song about his shameful participation in the slave trade before his sudden conviction.

I thought it was an incredible movie. I also think that people who say religion and politics mixing is always bad should watch it. It's a movie about a Christian politician trying to ~le gasp!~ make the world just a bit better.

'A Walk to Remember'.
Dunno if it was intentionally made for christian audiences but the themes are there - very good movie, Shane West is an excellent actor as a very screwed up nasty guy who falls in love with a very conservative but lovely Christian girl played by Mandy Moore
