Ephesians 1:1-12
[SUP]1[/SUP] Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
[SUP]2[/SUP]Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
[SUP]3 [/SUP]Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:
[SUP]4 [/SUP]According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
[SUP]5 [/SUP]Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
[SUP]6 [/SUP]To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;
[SUP]9 [/SUP]Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:
[SUP]10 [/SUP]That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:
[SUP]11 [/SUP]In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
[SUP]12 [/SUP]That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

Hmmmm....In the book of Genesis, after every day of creating, God finishes with these words: "And the evening and the morning were the ------ day." Genesis repeats this after every day,,,until we get to the 7th day. And for some reason, Moses does not add ( and the evening and the morning were the seventh day)....Does that make anybody wonder why that phrase was not mentioned after the 7th Day, as it was the other 6 days of Creation? Happy Sabbath folks!

It's because there is no end to the 7th day. GOD finished his work and is now at rest. We who believe enter into that rest with GOD and abide there every day instead of pretending it's only one day of the week.

A blessed sabbath rest to everyone who believes.

Actually, you are half-right. God is still resting from His Creative works. The first chapter was about God. He, Him, His...Even to Genesis ch. 2 verse 3... It's not everyday that we enter into the Sabbath rest.. For the Sabbath is the 7th day. That is when God rested,, we see that He worked every other day. So it is with mankind and the 4th Commandment... six days you shalt labor and do all thy work, but the seventh is the sabbath, in it you shall do no work.
God blessed the Sabbath after it had ended. The Bible says God rested,,,,then,,, He blessed the seventh day.

The Sabbath is the 7th day,,, no where in scripture does it say the Sabbath is every day. It's not. Just because God rested from His work does not mean we rest everyday. We don't,, we are to do all our work during the first 6 days of the week,, the last day, 7th, is the sabbath,, that won't ever change.

God will make a new heaven and a new earth ( He will be working soon) and then He will rest again,, only this time forever. And we will be keeping Sabbath in the new earth, because of Gods new Creative works!

Good job,, have a nice sabbath!

God indeed rested from His works,, but for you to say the 7th day never ended, is an untruth. We have not rested from our work,, we are to labor and do our work six days, and we rest on the 7th. We haven't quit working. We still labor 6 days a week. God rested from His creative works. He is not creating right now,, so He is at rest from Creating. But,, God is busy upholding and maintaining His Creation. God doesn't need rest.

We are only in the 6[SUP]th[/SUP] day right now and it is drawing to a close. When the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] day comes
and his people reign with him they can no longer be deceived by the darkness.

Isaiah 60:19 The sun will no more be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the LORD will beyour everlasting light, and your God will be your glory

Revelation 21:23 The city does not need the sun orthe moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb isits lamp.

Revelation 22:5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever

1 John 1:5-7 .5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleans us from all sin
