Sheep are dumb!!! If you want to be a follower of Jesus you have to be just as dumb.

I read something about sheep. The reason why sheep get a dumb tag is because they are so committed to their leader that they would even follow him off a cliff, even at the cost of their safety!!

A sheep without a shepherd is EASY BAIT!! This way wolves can come in and just pick their choose. But Jesus is better than this. He guides and leads his sheep. He is ALWAYS attentive to them. He feeds them, leads them to green pastures and still waters. AND AT TIMES HE FIGHTS OFF THE WOLVES!!!

Some of you have not been under the guidance of the Good Shepherd. You have been under the guidance of hirelings. They eat and the sheep starve. OH YOU WICKED PASTORS!! WHO WILL SAVE YOU!! The reason they don't care about the sheep is because the sheep don't belong to them. So they are careless with another's possessions, and this is a direct violation of the law, a commandment of God.

Instead of taking on the wolves they run away, and the sheep are scattered. BUT I TELL YOU, JESUS WILL GATHER THEM AGAIN!!! He is gathering them even now!!!!!

The followers of Jesus KNOW his voice and follow him, and they will not follow a stranger. The sheep enter through the gate into the safe place, which is through Jesus Christ.

WHOA TO YOU WICKED PEOPLE WHO SCATTER THE SHEEP OF THE LORD!!! Believe me, the Lord will repay!!

Whoa dude! You're talking about woe here man dude bro.

Lol sorry, it is "woe" though. The other word, "whoa" makes me imagine it was shouted by either Bill or Ted on one of their Excellent Adventures.

I had a pastor do a sermon on sheep that seriously lasted a month long, and every sermon opened with, "Sheep are dumb, smelly, stupid animals!" When I saw the title to this it made me laugh because that was the first thing I thought of. Ironically enough he ended up being a wolf himself as we later learned the man was a very compulsive liar and a manipulator and he was soon fired.

wow. Yeah, 5 minute rule (WOE!) And WHOA lol. My friend that is not uncommon anymore. Because sheep are only smelly if you don't clean them. Not so much as stupid, but committed. Of course the major issue with these places is that they were entrusted with a duty, not to be the leaders of the sheep, but to direct them to the leader of the sheep. So they now assume the role of Rabbi or High Priest, or Pastor, or Savior even. So people end up following a man more than Jesus.

I am so glad I have been saved from church. Because I was dieing and no one even told me the first thing about Jesus. There is a lot of talk about how to make money off of God, and how to be materialistic, but there is no talk about Judgment, righteousness, sin, And MOSTLY JESUS CHRIST!! More talk about God than about Jesus, because I think the words of Jesus are too much for someone who is perishing to accept.

Another thing is denial of the Holy Ghost, or the need for the ministry of the Holy Ghost. This is how churches die, because that breathe of life is not manifesting in the services. This is how you have an on fire church and after a few years it dies, and repetition and every day is like a new advertisement to keep people coming, because the anointing is gone. Many entertainment pastors, but hardly, HARDLY any true servants of Jesus Christ. May Jesus bless you.

It is often difficult for people to recognise and understand sheep behaviour, because most of us are not used to being around sheep and because their facial structure makes it difficult for us to read emotion on their faces, like most of us can with cats and dogs.
Sheep have uniquely individual natures and are social, intelligent animals

The sheep were then shown two old faces - a sheep and a shepherd. Even after two years apart, the sheep responded to the faces, calling out in recognition. The specialised face-processing system in the sheep brain offers advantages for long-term recognition of many individuals that are similar to those for humans, say the Babraham researchers.
"In humans, analogous brain regions and neural circuits are activated equivalently when we see or form mental images of the faces of specific individuals. This suggests that sheep may be capable of using the same system to remember and respond emotionally to individuals in their absence,” said the team."
