We are powerful, those in the Body of Christ in this world. That's why the Antichrist can't come out in full bloom til we go up up and away🙏😇

I really wonder about this.

Before Pentecoast they weren't fearless (see Peter denying Jesus). After Pentecoast they were totally different and fearless.

If they had exactly the same as every christian has then should not every single christian be just as fearless as they were?

But I am not fearless.

Can you honestly say that there is NOTHING out there, no scenario at all, under which you would be so scared that you'd

act just like Peter when he was asked by that woman if he wasn't a follower of Jesus? Can you honestly say that?

Even if you're threatened with death or torture or other really scary things?

I don't even think it's possible to answer that unless you're really in such a situation.

But what would happen if you're threatened with something and you're so scared that you just deny Jesus to get out of

it? What then?

That is really depressing. :(
know that the apostles were enlightened with the Holy Spirit's power. we can be scared, concerned, cautious & smart about a situation. how about the old wasp nest situation. til this day, i have never seen anyone stand still & not run away from bees, wasps & hornets when they start to sting. only a person in a protective suit eradicating stinging insects will stand there. so are all of us scared & run away or is it intelligennce that tells us to run. you can run away & not be scared, it's the smart thing to do. but some people will run & be scared. i've seen about the worst you can imagine. none of it bothered me. what timing on your post because this past weekend i was cogitating on this subject. once, i dumped bunch of old mattresses form someone & was crowded by bess. i didn't get stung. i used the powers of my subconscious mind. i even got close to Japanese Giant Hornets on a job several times. never stung. your last question is a question that you can't answer unless the situation arises. i can face trouble on a level more than the average person but i can't totally say that there isn't something out there that i would be scared of.

Then, you made a mistake.

I doubt it Randy, most churches and believers don't resemble what we see in scripture since today most mistake an hour of worship once a week a dynamic, power filled faith. Jesus was clear this would be the case, whereas His Own are doing greater works than He as He said they would.

Hi,

thanks to those who wrote helpful stuff in my threads.

I have decided to leave this forum for various reasons:

- Unfriendly users who impudently dare to question my salvation (this is unacceptable for a christian forum, such things should not be tolerated!)

- Apparently it's not permitted here to create any threads with a critical opinion of Trump (I wasn't aware that this is a maga forum...)

In summary:

This is not a forum I'd recommend to anyone. Off to find a nicer, safer place with FREEDOM OF SPEECH

Where does He want you? Aren't we to take ALL things to Him before acting?

Not always. Peter feared the Jews who were trying to shoehorn their legalism into the new covenant.

When Cephas came to Antioch, however, I opposed him to his face, because he stood condemned. For before certain men came from James, he used to eat with the Gentiles. But when they arrived, he began to draw back and separate himself, for fear of those in the circumcision group. The other Jews joined him in his hypocrisy, so that by their hypocrisy even Barnabas was led astray.

Peter obviously agreed with Paul and fixed himself at some point after that. Sometimes all you need is someone to help you oppose your fear.
