Hi and welcome to CC . I feel lonley a lot too. Every night I go to bed wishing I had a husbond holding me through the night. Focausing on other relationships such as family and friends helps me. I have to keep on reminding myself that I am not alone and that God is with me. It is tough at times . I live alone. I would like to get a pet but I am low income and could not afford to take it to the vet if it got sick. I love to crochet and it feels good when I finish a project. I think it is good to have hobbies. They keep us busy and relieves us of our problems.

I agree with CatWoman. If you focus all day on your desire of having a spouse then you'll constantly feel lonely and depressed. It's good to fill your daily life with several activities and being with friends and family, it reminds you that life isn't just about having a gf/bf/spouse, but also about so many other wonderful God created things.

You are never lonely, for there are always two sets of footprints in the sand.

The loneliness you are talking about is from a desire to have someone close to you because other people you see are in that. All I know is just fall into the arms of God and spend time with Him (chatting, praising, reading the word) and your will see all things become dim... And His awesome love shine :) God bless
