yes we have to be very carefull to not not cause anyone to stumble, but saying that drinking , now i am not talking about getting drunk and partying, but just having a drink is not a sin as defined by the Bible. and to your point about denominations, how about the Word as the highest authorty, not the salvation army or anyone else.

The point I was making is that many denominations have other reasons for not drinking. For example Salvationists do not drink - but it is not for biblical reasons.
