Hello Everyone,
I want to share with you a little experience of mine which has taught me an important lesson.
This morning I've felt guilty because of some sort of mistake I recently did.
As I got up,I've felt sad inside for that and tryed to do something good which in some way it could relieve me from the thought of having made a mistake again..
I usually can't accept my mistakes so easily and I tend to try to be perfect to please God.
As I prayed , I asked God forgiveness of my sins and this time I've felt to open my heart to God more and told him how exactly I felt. I've told him about the mistakes and I've felt repented for that.
You know,fear of feeling judged by the Law of God is very easy ... So I started to pray of not having this fear ... and then I went out in my usual daily life.
As I was still feeling sad inside for all of this, I entered a café to have my usual daily breakfast. As I was entering it there was a person who was going out of the café: it was a family friend of mine whom I rarely meet him there.
He smiled at me and greeted me.As I was going in, He asked the bartender that he would pay what I would have taken. This friend of mine wanted to pay my breakfast as an act of friendship people usually do it here.
I can't explain it,but as He did this,something reminded me of how I felt this morning. My friend just paid for me what I had to pay...that's the same meaning of our christian life: Jesus had paid for my sin,so I didn't need to feel so underserving of God's love. I've felt very happy to realize it,coz even if it sounds so predicted,very often It's not easy for me to accept it.
This friend of mine just expressed his friendship to me in this way,paying my breakfast as well as God expressed his love for me sending Jesus to die for my sins...
I've felt encouraged to think about God's love which is far greater than my sin and I've felt relieved for that.
As I went out of the café I just thanked God for this little experience.
It doesn't matter how guilty we could feel for the sin we have made,for our imperfection,for all the times we see ourselves so wrong in front of God.
His Love is far greater than our sins and our feeling unworthy of His Love...
Someone has paid for You... God's Love ...
