Spiritual Dynamics 101: Christ, Our Life

"But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.." ~ 1st Corinthians 1:30

While progressive, sanctification is not a process. Neither is it the means in which God makes your flesh (your thoughts, your desires, your feelings & your actions) more Christ-like. Rather, scripture teaches that sanctification is a person; the Spirit of Christ Himself. You are only as sanctified as you are dead (crucified) to your flesh allowing Christ to have complete control over every area of your life. In order to be truly sanctified, all that is you must die so that Christ's Spirit may live in you and through you.
