Praise the Lord. Brothers and sisters in Christ...can you share some experiences of yours where you shared the word of God with those who don't believe in God. I am from India. I have lot of friends here in India. I tried my best to share the word of God with them. Invited them to church many times, sometimes I was successful and after my friends started believing in Jesus they have seen miracles in life. But in my friends those who are very close to me....I just failed to make them to read bible or Invite them to church. Because they are well settled in all the areas of their life and I am not....can you share your experiences where you really were successful in this kind of situation. ...

Hey!

Firstly , nice to see you here on India Forum.

And I totally agree about how it's the hardest to share Christ with your most dear ones.

For me, I've witnessed to my college friends. It's not always received very well, because many of them look down on religion and the idea of God.
However very recently, I prayed for an atheist friend, who did turn to Christ and is now a believer.
I noticed that all my talk and preaching had no effect on him, but a simple heartfelt prayer while he was broken was more powerful than all my reasoning.

I have another friend, who's a Hindu Brahmin but interested in Christianity. She wanted to read the Bible , and I gifted her one around last month.


I trust God. His Word never returns void.


Hopefully, many more people will see the light that is Jesus and be drawn to it.


OH OH OH

and one more important point. We have to live like the light that Jesus expects us to be. So as we pray for our friends, we need to pray for ourselves as well that we exhibit more Christ like qualities so that they can view Jesus in us.

Yes

1. Simple prayer for our friends in their trouble times and encouraging them to believe in God.

2. Praying for ourselves so that we exhibit more Christ like qualities.

Yes these will surely help us to spread the word of GOD to worldly.

Brothers and sisters any more ideas and areas in our life we can work on to spread the word of God to our friends or to those who don't believe in God.

Share your experiences like Rachel20 did..would be a great help for all of us who want to spread the Word in India.

Hi! If desired, without telling them what to do, you can imply to them what they should do by telling them that you do these things. And explain how you enjoy it and how it is of benefit for you. And could express your desire that there would be more of others who do more of the things that you do yourself, of these things. You could express the wish to find more people who would be willing to do these things with you, since you would enjoy the companionship of that kind.
