Remember the word of God my sister." First seek the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these other things shall be added to you" (Mat.6:33). Your looking for Bible study or prayer partners should be to seek and glorify God first. Then God will bless you and your family. Read Psalm 37:3-8. Delight yourself also in the Lord and He will meet the desires of your heart.

I'm a stander, too (though not in your area). Do you happen to know where I can find a support forum for standers of international/intercultural marriages? It's a specialty area that needs more ministry.
