Hi, so I am brand new on this site. I am struggling with something at church. I belong to a First Baptist Church in Massachusetts. We recently (Jan.) hired a new Pastor. She was originally from New Orleans, and moved here from North Carolina. She is wonderful, I feel like she has brought the Glory of God back to our church! I love her! This past Sunday we were having a luncheon (Baptist prerequisite) and she asked the room (approx.40 people) if anyone would have a problem if when she referred to God, she used the word 'she' or 'her'. I am the only one that raised my hand! I am so not understanding how nobody else had an issue with this?? Thoughts anyone?
