An abomination is “something that causes disgust or hatred”; and desolation is “a state of complete emptiness, unlivable or destroyed.” Jesus warned that something (or someone) that people detested would stand in the (temple: scared space) someday and bring cause of the appalling sacrilege that astonishes and make desolate.
And any transgression depriving something of its intended sacred character, or the disrespectful or contemptuous treatment of that which is held to be sacred, shall be considered blatant desecration.

I suppose I get the jest of what you are saying. Many today ignore the many warnings of scripture.
Unfortunately, there are many false doctrines being circulated in Churches. False teachers are paid to misinform congregants. The unsuspecting believer attends a Church where they feel loved and wanted. But they have walked into a trap. Sadly, most Churches embellish false teachings and reject sound doctrine.
When our Lord Jesus returns, he will deal with the false teachers!
