I am not the same person I was before Jesus Christ changed my heart, and taught me of his love. I cannot be the same person again.
I was a person who looked alright, like everything was okay and fine. I laughed, played, joked, but there was something more in me. In me was all types of evil, and suppressed hate. Some days I would be happy, and others terribly frustrated and angry. It came to a point I couldn't even control my anger. And days and nights were dark to me. And I wanted to commit suicide. I hated everyone, and to me everyone was empty and silly. I cut people with words, more than any knife could ever do, and though sometimes I felt bad afterwards, it got so bad I didn't even care.
I cursed God and my parents and brothers. And for all of this I should have received eternal death.
BUT GLORY TO THE LORD JESUS CHRIST FOR HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER!!
Tonight, when I was around my family, I felt once again, as I had before, what has really changed in me. That suppressed anger has become suppressed love. I cannot have control over this love when it is released. It is like a flood of love that comes over me. It is a flood of care for people. I don't feel this way often, but times like this I get so sad. I get sad because of my care. When I see families split apart, or people treating each other wrong, it comes on me sometimes. I just want everyone to know Jesus and live in his love so that we can really and truly have a life worth living for.
I truly, truly, believe that when David danced before the Lord, he did it with that suppressed love that is retained for the glory of the Lord. This love is pass what the flesh can explain. Maybe I could explain it with a dance, or with a song, or with tears of joy, or with drums. Yet, only my Spirit can praise him the way he deserves it. It is what bears witness of this praise and this honor and glory. This is that which was given to me by Jesus Christ, to bear witness with the Spirit of God.
The desires of this flesh are deceptive. Nothing is good without God. NOTHING!! May the Lord keep my soul from sin.
May Jesus bless you.
