I am the mother of two grown children...3 and 2/3 grandchildren (the 2/3 will be born next week via c-section). A modern day Job, of sorts, I've overcome the ill effects of schizo-affective disorder. I've gone from living on social security and having no job to not having social security at all and working full time. All Glory to God!
He came to me in the hospital and put me on the path 22 years ago. My testimony is my children, however, and the work He's done in them. I raised them in one church and switched shortly after the last graduated. They struggled to get along and lived different belief systems.
A few days ago, they were both here with all the grandchildren. They got along really well. The grandchildren played together. They are both saved now. It's been a long time coming. When they were only about 5 years old, I had such sorrow, I offered them 'back' to God. I gave them up to him, not physically, but spiritually. For years I worried and wondered. Finally I knew that was the right thing for at that time, I had no personal resources. The neighbor's child led my son back to Jesus. His mother sent them to bible class at the time with her son, which is how my daughter was saved.
My youngest grandson gave up a favored toy in great compassion for his cousin. A hugely mature act for any child...he is only 2 years old.
Thank you, Jesus, for the restoration of my family, my mind, my spirit and my soul. Thank you, Jesus, for never giving up on me. May those reading know of your ever-loving presence and powerful work in their lives as well. Amen
