We used to say, "Stop the world, I want to get off!" I chuckle a bit to myself to think of sitting still, knowing that the world rotates on its axis at a rate of over a thousand miles per hour and revolves around the sun at a speed of over 100 thousand kilometers per hour. Stopping the world would be quite a feat :D We would probably all float away into space :eek:

If I could figure out faster than light space travel, I'd like to get off this world and start a new one.
