Let me just remind everyone, it doesn't really matter if homosexuality is natural or not. Whether people are born gay or whether they choose to be gay, it makes little difference when it comes to discussing the legalization or criminalization of gay rights. However, it has been proven that homosexuality is programmed in our DNA. Even though Camille Paglia is a lesbian, she is not an authority on the subject by any means - and in this case, she would be wrong.

First of all, this was a sample of the book, you have to read the full thing to get the full picture. Also, Carl Wieland began his creation publications in 1978 and has since dedicated his life to the biblical creation model, refuting evolution at every turn. Creation scientists like Carl and his team, interact regularly with evolutionists and keep up to date with the latest "findings" in evolutionary science. They also dedicate their lives to this pursuit. They're not ignorant to what's going on.

Finally, Carl and his team all grew up believing the evolutionary model. Some converted later in life, some earlier in life but all came from a background where evolutionary theory was believed to be truth. They're not ignorant about evolution. Besides, I don't limit myself to their publications. I also read some books with an evolutionary worldview (it's hard not to when most Christians seem to be theistic evolutionists). Evolution is a lie and they're exposing this truth. It's the one conspiracy theory that's fact.

When someone refers to evolution as "Darwinism", they lose all credibility right there. There's no such thing as Darwinism. Darwinism is a term used solely by creationists to make evolution appear as a religion.

What these men once believed is of no concern to me. I don't know why they abandoned the evolutionary model. Perhaps they deny proof that challenges their religious views. Perhaps he genuinely is scientifically illiterate. Maybe he's in it solely for the money. Regardless, he does not present an accurate representation of evolution.

Evolution never encouraged eugenics. Anyone who has ever used evolution as an excuse for racism would have a complete misunderstanding of what the theory of evolution is - since evolution evaluates how a species changes over time. It DOES NOT evaluate the value of species.

I wanted to make sure that you understand what people mean when they say that homosexuality is a "sexual perversion"; I was not discussing the legalisation of gay rights.

It hasn't been proven that homosexuality is programmed in our DNA. Did you know that there are studies that try to prove that pedophilia is also programmed in human's DNA? Doctors have found some common features in a pedophile's profile, but still, it hasn't been proven that pedophiles are born that way.

Camille Paglia is a cultural figure therefore she approaches sexuality from a sociological-cultural perspective, and I don't think she's wrong in her approach; I understood her reflections on homosexuality as a response to the gay activists's clicheique slogans that want to normalise something that is not normal, by nature (Camille Paglia said that you don't need a license in medicine or biology to understand something as simple as the natural law; and she's right, whether gay academicians like it or not).
