I want to tell you about the beauty of marriage. Marriage was an opportunity God gave to us, to demonstrate the love Jesus has for The Church. Marriage was not something that was forced, but for the purpose of demonstrating the love Jesus had for his own.

And here is the beauty of the marriage of the lamb. His bride was not a beautiful bride, she lusted after strange men, and would not accept his love. He called her, and begged for her to come to him. He was patient with her, and he did everything he could to heal her, and help her, but she did not come to him when he called. His final sign of his love for her was to give his own life for her. She did not understand at the time what she was doing in her sin, but he allowed her to mock him, and hang him from a cross, in the hope of showing her how much he really loves her. He was longsuffering with her till death. And even at death he said, LORD FORGIVE THEM FOR THEY KNOW NOT WHAT THEY DO!! And whereas they killed him out of ignorance, when they came to the knowledge of the Truth, then her eyes and ears were opened to the Truth of his Love.

SO, Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the Church, and gave himself for it. Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, and Husbands submit yourself to your own wives. Jesus came not to be ministered to, but to minister. So, husbands, serve your wives also, to show the love Christ had for his Church. Overcome pride with the love of Jesus Christ. May Jesus bless you.
