The blood of Jesus poured to the ground. The blood that had been flowing in His veins was no on Him and on the Cross. Jesus was dieing and the red blood that left Him was His life. The life is in the blood. The blood blotted out the charges against us, flowed from the Cross to the hearts of millions and washed them clean. Jesus' blood crys out from the Cross like a messenger from God, 'Come unto Me!' Everyone who comes to the Cross must acknoledge the blood, the precious blood of God. The Lamb of God shed this blood. It was the blood of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Some blood spilled on Peter and John and the other disciples. It spilled on Luther by faith. It spilled on Europe and America, on Africa and on Asia. It spilled all over the world. It wrote "fulfilled" on the Law, "paid in full" on the debt, and "it is finished" on the annuals of sin. The blood is powerful, precious, priceless, beautiful, loving, gentle, harmless and rare. The blood does not discriminate for race, color, wealth, sex, handicap, or national origin. The blood of the Passover Lamb is on the door post of every temple of God which is our bodies. The blood of Jesus is effective. None of our blood will do. No other blood can save. Those who are touched by the blood are healed like those Jesus touched. The blood of Christ the anointed one is blessed by the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The blood gives hope to all who believe. Lord let my plea on judgement day be 'the blood of Jesus!' The book of life speaks of the blood. Every name in the book saved by the blood. The blood of Jesus is eternal. The blood is unadulterated and will never be mixed with the works of mere man. The blood is the friend that sticks closer than a brother to the faith of the saints. The blood is in the light and on the narrow way. The blood stains the mind and soaks the spirit. The blood is on you if you believe. It is with you and for you and saves you.
