ok, here's one of the things I wanted to talk about. what is in store for the U.S in the next few years?
i've kept prophecy in the back of mind for awhile but lately I've been startled at how more things in the world have brought us closer to events prophecied in Revelation. In particular, I used to wonder just how American, in particular, could ever get to a point where people couldn't buy or sell unless they had a mark of the beast. We are, after all, a capitalist system with buying and selling in the hands of whoever has credit or dollars or whatever. then I saw the bailouts of our president's administration and saw how it could be done. When businesses fail they wait for a hand out and thus sacrifice their freedom in order to survive. I believe the cash for clunkers program was actually for purpose of not so much helping people but getting them used to the idea of expecting hand outs from government. If enough people do this, they willl someday be put in a situation where their freedom depends on a political "thing" that can control them. Of course, our technology, I think, is advanced enough so that somebody could be tagged with a microchip and their ability to buy or sell controlled by a computer or computer user. Our buying with a credit card can be cut off now so why not with a microchip.
I believe right now the Republicans have a dilemma: they can either agree to Obama’s proposal to raise taxes on the wealthy in order to fix budget problems or be blamed for a decline in the economy once automatic budget cuts kick in. If Boehner and the Republicans give in to Obama, I see an increase in taxes and cut backs in some businesses thereby increasing the unemployment rate. If Obama and the Republicans cannot come to a budget agreement and automatic budget cuts are made, an increase in unemployment will ensue. I believe in the next two years the unemployment rate will rise above 10%.
In both circumstances, the drumbeat will continue for increased taxes on higher incomes. The elections of 2014 will do little to change the balance of power and may even swing the House of Rep. in the Democrats favor if enough people interpret the bad economy as a result of Republicans’ unwillingness to raise taxes. If Democrats gain control of the House and the Senate, I expect taxes to be raised with no positive effect on the economy.
After 2014, Obama and Congress will realize that increasing taxes has had no positive impact and arguments will be made for either stimulus or other methods to increase the supply of money. Lowering interest rates will no longer do since interest rates cannot go much lower. This increase in money supply causes increased spending resulting in inflation and within two years I expect the rate of inflation to go past 5%. In the 2016 election if we elect reps that continue on increasing the supply of money to fix the economy, I expect even higher inflation and perhaps even hyperinflation.
While researching this stuff, I found out that many governments that experienced hyperinflation only got better after they substitute a different unit of currency for the hyperinflationed currency. what will the dollar be substituted with?
i find it no surprise that there is such a thing as identity theft and Rush Limbaugh continually harps on it. I find that in a time of hyperinflation when savings are ruined, jobs ruined, etc. people will be left to looting and one of the ways they might steal to survive is by using people's identify. During this time the government, which wants to solve all our problems and makes some while trying to solve them, will offer a way to ensure there is no identity theft - the microchip. This will happen after politicians complain that the only way to ensure that such financial disasters don't happen again is to have a one world currency. Such an ideas is bantered about by such articles as this:

People will buy into this idea and before long - even though the microchip is not mandatory - the overwhelming support for it will drive everyone to adopt it.
Many peopel will complain that this is similar to the mark of the beast, but some politicains say that the people who complain are enemies of progress these people - probably a lot of Christians - will be portrayed negatively just as the rich are portrayed negatively now as the root of our fiscal ills. We will be told that in order for this system to work, EVERYONE must have this chip and soon it will be compulsory.
so where does this tie into Bible prophecy?
Revelations chapter 6 talks about a conqueror on a white horse and then several more horses that bring famine and death. I believe the conquerer on a white horse has to do with Islam and I won't go into that here now (but maybe later) but I believe the death and famines accompanying this conquerer arise at the time of the complete collapse of not just our economy but that of Europe after the debt problems go unsolved. I believe the Greek situation will suck other economies in until they collapse as well - just like bailing out your debt-ridden uncle drives you into debt also. (You've undoubtedly seen the protests in Greece under the austerity measures.What is coming will make this look like child's play).
At this time a leader will come about who promises hope and change and peace and this will be the Antichrist who promises to create peace. He will create a new economic system in which there will be no inequalities and you won't be able to buy or sell unless you give your loyality to his system. He will promise peace with Israel also when they are about to be blow up by their enemies.
What I found interesting was that (and I don't remember where I read this) is that Moslems tend to ask for peace which is only a on hold time until they attack again. I find it no surprise that the Antichrist follows the same warfare pattern and that Europe is gradually becoming apostate and after that Islamized and that is the area the Antichrist is supposed to come from. Also, what other type of leader would be willing to wage such a war against Christians?
One last question. How would unbelievers explain away the rapture especially in a religion that does not necessarily subscribe to modern ideas like ufos? However, in this article

some Moslems do embrace the idea of ufos
so what I see is that this Antichrist will come in charge at a time of great financial collapse, create a way of buying and selling that he controls and you can't do it unless you follow him, and also will be moderately secularized in a way that he succumbs to some New Age beliefs at least to the point that he does believe in ufos that can abduct people from the Earth. and people will believe this without question. I think it's no surprise that tales of ufo abductions have come about in this day and age. They serve a purpose: to set up the lie of why Christians have disappeared from the Earth during the rapture.
so that's why I see happening but I guess I may be wrong. but there are just tooooo many things coming together at one time for me to ignore.
