The danger of putting off the things!

I went to carry on the previous message, but came in my heart to write this message in virtue of the gravity of the predicament that all the world is living. Many people think that the problem is only the COVID. Nonetheless, if people invested time making strong their immune system and didn’t prorogue the combat against the illness, many deaths could be obviated.

If you feel any symptom of flu or cold (as small as it is), don’t bide to seek the doctor and get over your disease. If you cope with the infirmity forthwith (at its first signs), it won’t have time to disseminate in your body and you won’t have major problems.

And this is valid in everything in life. Take a look:

  • “Be angry, and do not sin. Do not let the sun go down upon your wrath,” (Eph 4:26).

If someone is angry at you, don’t bide the sun go down (don’t postpone to tomorrow): make amends now! Remember the terrible warning that Jesus made:

  • “Therefore if you offer your gift on the altar, and there remember that your brother has anything against you, leave your gift there before the altar and go. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. *Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are in the way with him*; that the opponent not deliver you to the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. *Truly I say to you, You shall by no means come out from there until you have paid the last kodrantes* .” (Mat 5:23-26).

That is to say: if there is something to be done or said, do it now. See this excerpt:

  • “Then Abner called to Joab and said, Shall the sword devour forever? Do you not know that it will be bitter in the end? How long shall it be then before you command the people to return from chasing their brothers? And Joab said,* As God lives, unless you had spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone up each one from following his brother* .” (2Sa 2:26-27).

“A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver.” (Pro 25:11).

The truth is that the tongue of the savant is health (Prov 12:18). So, don’t wait to use your body, soul and spirit to bless someone. You can lose your “promise land”.

  • “And they rose up early in the morning and went up to the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we are here, and will go up to the place which Jehovah has promised, for we have sinned. And Moses said, Why do you now go beyond the command of Jehovah, since it shall not be blessed? Do not go up, for Jehovah is not among you. And shall you not be beaten before your enemies? For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you shall fall by the sword. Because you have turned away from Jehovah, therefore Jehovah will not be with you.” (Num 14:40-43).

If you read Numbers 13 and 14, you will see that these people above thought to go to take possess of the Canaan after the Creator having rejected them. When the Creator imparts an order, obey it straightway. Don’t put off even one second. Otherwise, you can lose, who knows, the greatest opportunity of your life.

So, have a good day don’t deferring any treatment to get free of any disease, whether it is physical (COVID, for instance) or spiritual (the sin), chiefly if this makes you break up with someone. This can make you lose someone very special, the instrument of Jesus’ blessing for you (or, who knows, the own and true blessing of your life – see 1Peter 3:10-12).
