"As to this salvation, the prophets who prophesied of the grace that would come to you made careful searches and inquiries, seeking to know what person or time the Spirit of Christ within them was indicating as He predicted the sufferings of Christ and the glories to follow. (1 Peter 1:10-11)

Please explain to me how this does not show that Christ is divine.

The NT as a whole shows "Jesus Christ is LORD". So it doesn't matter whether or not one can show a specific verse or verses like 1 Peter 1:10-11 show that Christ is Divine. Go to Biblegateway.com and type in the phrase Jesus Christ is Lord under the King James Version Bible. God bless you!
Verse for you from St. Paul, regarding St. Timothy, "Let no man despise your youth". God bless!
