The social deduction game Werewolf (often referred to as Mafia) was invented in 1986 by Dmitry Davidoff, a psychology student at Moscow State University in the Soviet Union.

Here are the key details regarding the creation and purpose of the game:

  • Original Purpose: Davidoff created the game to act as a research tool, specifically a classroom experiment designed to prove a thesis: an uninformed majority will often lose against an informed minority.
  • Original Name: The game was originally known as Mafia. The "Werewolf" theme is a popular alternative re-theming of the same mechanics, featuring villagers vs. werewolves rather than civilians vs. mafiosi.
  • Sociological/Psychological Concept: The game models conflict, showcasing how hidden information, persuasion, and deception can influence group decisions and allow a small, cohesive group (the minority) to manipulate a larger, unorganized group (the majority).
  • Game Structure: The game alternates between a "night-phase," where the informed minority (Werewolves/Mafia) secretly eliminate a player, and a "day-phase," where the surviving players debate and vote to eliminate a suspect.
The game is widely considered a foundational "social deduction" game that has influenced modern games like Among Us.

Among us is a video game, a digital version of this, where players must identify the "imposters" among them.

This game demonstrates how elites can operate in the shadows, manipulate people and move us to do stupid things.

The real value of knowing this is to see that Jesus Christ who is omniscient and who has promised to proclaim the things done in secret from the housetop, is the gospel. Having a relationship with Jesus completely obliterates this advantage that the elites have as nothing is done in secret that the Lord does not know about.

Heh I ws thinking as I read this that it sounds like the game Among Us. This game is actually based on a lot of earlier games or minigames that were based loosely around John Carpenter's The Thing. For you older people you can just watch the movies, the principle is basically the same, it's a basic imposter game, one or more people are imposters or The Thing (ror werewolves or mafiosi in your scenario) and part of the game is to figure out who the imposters are but also the catch is second half of the game which is surviving the imposters in case you fail to "catch" them in the opening stage of the game.

Luke 12:3 Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops. Amen.

This includes Epstein Island, amen.
This includes Diddy parties, amen.
This includes Hillary Clinton's server, amen.
This includes the people who have committed suicide or died surrounding Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton and President Obama. Amen.
This includes the auto pen and Joe Biden. Amen.
This includes the war in Iran, the war in Ukraine, and the war in Gaza. Amen.
This includes the 20 million illegals who came in during Biden. Amen.
This includes fraudulent elections. Amen.
This includes the corruption we are seeing in Minnesota with Learing centers from Somalia. Amen.
This includes the corruption we are seeing in California with Medicare. Amen.
This includes the lies told during the pandemic. Amen.

Those games are so like real life. I remember playing Among Us once, where I manifested as an imposter to one and only one witness - I think I used a vent (while we were trapped in a room I had locked). We went back together to the main control room (others witnessed us together) where he sounded the alarm, and I calmly explained it was just my glitchy connection, and if I really were the imposter, I would surely have killed him rather than accompanying him back to sound the alarm. The others believed my explanation and just thought he was being neurotic, and I went about my (imposter) business, until ultimately they suspected him of being the imposter, shortly before my victory. Just like with "conspiracy theorists" in real life.
