tipped her hat to life and off she swayed.
She walked counterclockwise in her mind
and all she breathed were the stains.

all her worries and tears
away into a crammed box for one.
She placed it at the grave where her Father’s blood had run,
she opened up the latch to show the devil who’s won.
(This always gives me hope because Satan can't have a foothold anymore, only Christ can speak to me.)
