My heart sings of the stars and
Gentle winds amongst the foliage
That whistles as it passes by
Distracts a heart bent on love.
Things come and things go and
Yet love remains eternal, even
Beyond death on this earth, it
Remains implanted upon the soul.
In solitude as the stars twinkle
Without sound, they speak volumes
To a mind that has left this home
And travels to somewhere far
Beyond where there is no beginning
Nor will there be an end.
May it always be, may we always
See the glory of our loving God.
Gentle winds amongst the foliage
That whistles as it passes by
Distracts a heart bent on love.
Things come and things go and
Yet love remains eternal, even
Beyond death on this earth, it
Remains implanted upon the soul.
In solitude as the stars twinkle
Without sound, they speak volumes
To a mind that has left this home
And travels to somewhere far
Beyond where there is no beginning
Nor will there be an end.
May it always be, may we always
See the glory of our loving God.
