Right agreed but the point is that the same people he wrote the beginning of the letter to is the same people he’s warning a couple chapters later . He’s written this letter to the church at Ephesus remember the loving scene after he left and what he’s told them ? Before he wrote the epistle ?
notice how this winds up the people don’t already have an inheritance but the word of the gospel can build them up and give them an inheritance with those who are sanctified

For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God. Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears. And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.”

I see over time in not quitting to believe God in the mercy and love for us all done for us all by Son to us all seeing by God's Faith given us, is assuredly risen and is alive forever, for us to rest in, to never die ever again. The Gift beyond measure
One finally receives the Faith that Father, Daddy, PaPa, gives to be content in. Not having to go through anymore work to be in to stay in, as is being still taught to do or else attitudes of the first born nature in us all, not yet redeemed. Once this Faith of Daddy, PaPa, Father is given to whomever will not quit, will see this fact and rest in trust to Father and Son as won for you too.
Job 19:25
“But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and that he will stand upon the earth at last.
Now, today is done for us all in Son to us all
John 19:28-30
Jesus knew that everything was now finished, and to fulfill the Scriptures said, “I’m thirsty.” A jar of sour wine was sitting there, so a sponge was soaked in it and put on a hyssop branch and held up to his lips. When Jesus had tasted it, he said, “It is finished,” and bowed his head and dismissed his spirit.
Matthew 28:6
but he isn’t here! For he has come back to life again, just as he said he would. Come in and see where his body was lying. . . .
Matthew 28:7
And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead, and that he is going to Galilee to meet them there. That is my message to them.”
Over 2,000 years later and still is risen, as many to this day fight the fact Jesus is risen (focused on death mostly), still fighting to do what is right and yet this remains done for them by Son to for us all. (1 John 2:1-27)
The problem I see presently is:
Which, Jesus are people trying to be new in? WHAT? There is only One Jesus right?
Is it, the one that came to earth, who, did the Job of Law perfectly once for all and is presently risen, never to die ever again for anymore sin to be forgiven. Or, is it the one we are taught to imitate, as not one other can do what is done for them as Jesus did, or can you? I, Can't, I need his lead in love and mercy. The new life in Daddy's Spirit and Truth is a gift from Father? To all that will stand in belief no matter what happens to them, whether good or bad, contentment is given to be joyful in all things, good or bad, to me at least.
What? Yes, this truth I am stating is God's Faith given above any and everyone's belief
Faith outweighs any belief I could ever think to do, or ever practice to do, at least me, thank you.
That is security beyond understanding, that those that are given this Faith of God from God, are content in it.
See the entire book of Job, who learned and knew God simply loved him, in spite of all troubles that were happening to him

Therefore, I need this truth given, that I cannot understand or fathom?

I am nothing, God is everything in love and mercy for us all, proven in risen Son t me at least, have a blessed new life to be content in, even in troubles happening, thank you
