The Inspired Steps of Noah...
I have been reading about Noah today and in the study was asked what I could learn from him, in Gen. Chapters 6 -9.
It was not difficult to see how faithful this man of God he was. What was God teaching me, what can I learn from Noah? In what way could I apply his faith to my life....not so I would have the skills and dedication to build an ark, to get started on a big , a very big boat. No. Rather what attributes did Noah display that meant God allowed him to not only survive but to prosper. How could i apply this to my life. God was showing me some basic truths of walking with Him here, so I could 'get out of my boat' and walk on water!!

What did Noah do?
  • He recognized God, acknowledged God for who He is.
  • He walked with God.
  • He listened to God.
  • He was obedient to God.
  • He worked hard at the job God gave him to do.
  • He trusted God despite his circumstances.
  • He was patient
  • He worshiped God.

Right at the beginning of the word, God gives us a template on how to be obedient to Him. Whatever we do, building boats...building lives, let us do it all for Him. Our faith, given to us by God, is grown through our obedience to Him. It is a response to the Blessings God gives us....He is our ALL in ALL.
