- The law of nature
The will of the Maker is called the law of nature. Our Creator also gave mankind free will and the ability to reason or discover such evident laws.
The law of nature or natural law is universal and binding to all. All laws that go against the laws of nature are not only void but they are not even defined as law, they are merely perversions of God's truth.
- The revealed law
The foundation of law is found in the laws of nature and the law of revelation, all human laws depend on these.
- Civil law
(Paraphrased from William Blackstone's Commentaries on the Laws of England Section two Of the Nature of Laws in General.)
To go against the natural law, what is designed by God is to sin and therefore all of mankind soon becomes lawbreakers. A crime against nature is to rebel against natural design which often causes disease, illness, pain, and harms society as a whole. When humans create bad laws, they not only go against the natural rights of mankind given by God, but they also go against God Himself.
