MANY will say to me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied, and cast out devils, and done many wonderful works in your name?”
And I will profess to them, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.” (Matt. 7:21-23)

It is happening every day, all over the world. There is a widely accepted and extremely detrimental lie being conveyed and accepted in many of today's mainstream churches.
I believe a lot of today's religious leaders are concerned more with the growth of their congregation than teaching true doctrine. One catastrophic lie they convey is the foundation of my belief.
With many manipulative factors, (including lies in the word of God) they ritualistically create a solemn and “holy” aura that may cause the unlearned/unsaved to become emotionally elevated or guilt ridden.
They then ask if anyone feels compelled (or something similar), that if they pray a certain prayer, and believe in Christ in their heart, that they will then become a “Child of God”.
The newcomer is then strongly encouraged to regularly attend the church, and repent of their sins. They ritualistically and religiously follow the direction and doctrine of their spiritually blind and biblically incorrect church leaders.
This results in an allotted time of dead works through a false sense of true saving faith. Let the damnable offences rest on the deserving.
***Please note Christ said “I never knew you.” Not “I knew you and forsook you”. If you are truly God's your salvation is secure.
