The Lord loves sinners. Jesus came into this world to seek and to save that which was lost. God loved us when we were afar off. God loved us when we did not love Him. God's mercy is longsuffering.
2 Cor 5:21 For God hath made Christ who knew no sin to be sin for us that we who knew no righteousness might be made the righteousness of God in Him.
There is no doing when it has already been done. Doing follows it does not lead.
